Why do we need to have a personal relationship with God, through
trusting in the Person and finished work of Jesus Christ?
God teaches us in the Bible, all people inherit a sinful (disobedient, rebellious) nature through the disobedience of the first human couple, when they disobeyed God at His commands. On the other hand, Jesus came to earth and lived a sinless life (a life in perfect obedience to God’s will and commands), died a death He didn’t deserve on a Roman cross, miraculous rose from His grave, and ascended back into heaven, from where He came from, we can by trusting in what He has done enter into a personal relationship with God, Genesis 3:1-20; Romans 5:8, 14; 1 Corinthians 15:22; Acts 1:9; 1 Thessalonians 4:14.
