Why Did Jesus Come to Die?
Opening
Rev. 3:20, KJV, ”Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.”
Phil. 2:12-13 ”… work out our salvation with fear and trembling, as God works in you to will and act according to His good purpose.”

Jn. 14:3 “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with Me that you also may be where I am;”
Jn. 12:26 “Whoever serves Me must follow Me; and where I am, My servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves Me.”
Jn. 17:24 “Father, I want those you have given Me to be with Me where I am, and to see My glory, the glory You have given Me because You loved Me before the creation of the world.”
1 Thess. 4:16-19 “For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words.”
Phil. 3:8-10, “… I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ — the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, …”
