God Meets Our Need For Endurance & Perseverance

1 Tim. 4:7b NASB, “… discipline yourselves for the purpose of godliness.”

1 Pet. 1:23 “For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.”

Isa. 66:22 " ‘As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before Me,’ declares the Lord, ‘so will your name and descendants endure.’ ”

We Need To Endure & Persevere

1 Tim. 6:11 “But you, man of God, … pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.”

James 1:2-4 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”

Rom. 15:4 “For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.”

2 Cor. 1:5-7 “For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.
