God, the Father, delights in His Son, Jesus

Mt. 3:17, KJV, “ ‘This is My beloved Son, in Whom I am well-pleased.’ ”

Jn. 17:24, “… You [Father] loved Me before the creation of the world.”

Isa. 42:1 “Here is My servant, whom I uphold, My chosen one in whom I delight; I will put My Spirit on Him and He will bring justice to the nations.”

God, the Father, delights in us as His sons and daughters
